Reef Ericeira
Continuing along Empa Beach, which is bordered by a small cliff, we find 300 meters to the north the twin sister of Pedra Branca, a wave that is called Reef. This right is formed from a very flat reef plate that develops onshore and gets deeper in its development towards NW. This is another regular and dangerous wave that has a very short and fast take-off zone, followed by a cylindrical tube that ends exactly at the exposed surface plate on the inside. It only works with swells from N to NO, with half tide.
