Surf Spot Guide
Arrifana Aljezur
The Arrifana beach is a wider bay sheltered by high cliffs that protect the bay from swell and wind from the northwest. The beachbreak on the inside offers multiple shifty peaks that can work at different stages of the tide and provide good surf during smaller swells. With bigger swells, the right-hand point break at the northern end of the bay – named “Kangaroos” – can work, providing long rippable walls. Beware of boulders and rocks.
