Morocco
Surfing on the west coast of Morocco from the north to the south offers plenty of surf spots and consistent waves from September until April. Morocco is a paradise for surfers of all levels of experience. From world-famous advanced/expert point break surf spots like Anchor Point and Killer Point near Taghazout to a variety of beach and reef breaks around Banana Point suitable for intermediate and beginner surfers, the west of Morocco offers surf for all types of levels and styles.
Reef Break
Reef Breaks have the capacity to produce consistent waves, flawlessly rolling in one after another. The coral reef or rocky bottom is where the wave breaks. Since the bottom of a reef break is not likely to vary compared to a beach break, the wave will almost certainly break over the reef in the same way practically every time. The two key elements that affect how waves break over a reef are swell direction and tide.
