Mid Tide
Mid tide is the time that is exactly between the tides, i.e. about 3 hours after high tide and before low tide or the other way around. Surfing at mid tide – as a rule of thumb – means the in between of of fast and hollow waves that occur during low tide and softer waves during High Tide.
