Playa de los Nidillos Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
It is not easy to get good waves to surf at Los Nidillos, but when they come out it is one of the best peaks in the bay of El Confital. This exclusive and unusual spot only comes out when the waves are strong enough. Nowadays there are very few surfers who surf this peak. They are mainly locals from El Confital, who consider it their secret spot. The veteran surfer José “El Bisnieto” believes that Juan Miguel Alfaro was the first one who surfed this peak of Los Nidillos, back in the 90’s of the last century. The wave of Los Nidillos comes out at low tide and without wind, especially in winter because at this time the frequency and strength of the overflows is greater.
