When we met Vanessa for the first time at a party in Lisbon, she showed us the incredible work she had done on surfboards, which made us fall in love with her art immediately. From a collaboration with Red Bull – a surfboard design for Carissa Moore when she won the Championship Tour, to various other surfboard design projects (our absolute favorite is the pitch black-on-black custom hand-painted surfboard for a collective art show), skateboards, a custom hand-painted motorcycle helmet titled Wanderlust, in collaboration with NeXX and Lisbon Motorcycle Film Festival, a collaboration with Harley Davidson, as well as collaborations with renowned surf brands like RVCA and 58 Surf Shop Portugal – see images below.
We absolutely love how Vanessa has been painting such a vibrant mix of items that embody the amazing, adventurous lifestyle of surf, skate, travel, and motorcycling.
