Founded in 2017 by a multinational team of tech visionaries, including CEO Lei “Bruce” Wang, the company aims to revolutionize the way the world accesses energy and lead the global transition towards renewable energy.
The inception of EcoFlow can be traced back to a group of engineers from DJI, a renowned drone technology company. Leveraging their expertise in advanced battery systems, they established EcoFlow with the vision of creating portable, eco-friendly energy solutions.
In 2017, EcoFlow introduced its first product, the RIVER mobile power station, marking its entry into the portable power market. By 2019, the company expanded to Tokyo, Japan, and launched the DELTA 1300, featuring faster charging capabilities. The subsequent years saw the release of the RIVER series in 2020, offering smart energy management features, and the DELTA Pro in 2021, which included the company’s first Smart Home Panel. In 2022, EcoFlow unveiled products like the WAVE mobile air conditioner, Power Kits, DELTA 2, and RIVER 2 series.
EcoFlow operates a Corporate Social Responsibility program called “Power For All.” Through this initiative, the company has provided disaster relief support, such as donating power equipment to earthquake-affected regions in Morocco in 2023, and has supported local community initiatives, including funding for community first aid training with St John Ambulance Cymru.
